As the chairperson of the Pastor Nominating Committee (PNC) for Palm Desert Community Presbyterian Church (PDCPC) it was a great pleasure to work with Scott Palmbush on our journey to call a new senior pastor/head of staff. This commitment began following the COVID pandemic and several difficult years within our church. It was imperative our candidate be a compatible match, visionary, and servant leader for the future of our church.
As I talked with Scott, he listened well, provided us with valuable assessment tools, and became a trusted advisor, guiding us to discern the gifts and intrinsic leadership traits we needed in our next senior pastor. Through our partnership, Scott was able to boldly customize an outreach plan that resulted in an amazing candidate who has been well received by our congregation. This was all possible because Scott truly heard and understood the core needs of our congregation and the type of individual who could fulfill the mission. He served both PDCPC and our candidates with dignity and respect. Given the opportunity, Scott will provide you with the same type of personal, comprehensive, and valuable service he provided to PDCPC.
